Port Hawkesbury to Glenora

We decided to make an early start to the day, and as per usual, we left around noon. I'll blame the lack of mineral oil and a decent grade of petrol (again....) Port Hawkesbury isn't necessarily the most picturesque of places - there's an open mine on a hillside - well what's left of a hillside - looks like there digging it straight into the ship.... And when we left it was still overcast and cold....

But.

What's that big fireball in the sky? Over the period of 30 minutes we were ingulfed in sunshine.

Port Hook is a beautiful cove. Offering my first chance to go off-roading (and to drop the bike - twice)

Another thing that JJ's been harping on about is his promise to eat his greens. I suggested that creme de menthe was probably not what was in mind ......

And we finally arrive at our destination for the evening: Glenora distillery offering a beautiful location (and I do mean beautiful) and ample opportunity for getting ugly later on ..... But I'm sure G will keep us in check - unless she like the 18 year old single cask........
