Sherbrooke to Port Hawkesbury

After spending the morning in the 17th century French fur-trading, logging and ship-building settlement of Sherbrooke we headed east along the Marine Drive coastal road. It's impossible to get homesick here: cold, windy, cloudy and quite, quite beautiful :)

We were getting a bit cold crossing the causeway onto Cape Breton island.

Today we head up to Glenora whisky distillery (woohoo!) along route 19. It's looking brighter today and the forecast is for sunshine until the end of the week - that should see us round the Cabot Trail. Everything looking great - except trying to find some 95 octane petrol and 20/50 mineral oil for the bikes

PS expect tomorrows blog to be short and unintelligable ;)
